Maybe I'm not cut out for this! By this I mean trying to make the blog look like I want it to look. Here's hoping I can pay to have someone design a blog soon! Ha! It has taken me all night just to adjust the banner so it didn't take up the whole screen when you open the blog. I've been blogging on my personal blog for a few years but I've never tried to change the background and banner.

I'm trying!

Under Construction
Ok, so I created this little 'ol blog MONTHS AGO and never did anything with it. I wanted to claim it for when the time was right. It looks like that time is coming near.

Hello out there!
So I decided I wanted to have a place to talk about and showcase my classroom where I wouldn't alienate my followers of my blog where I post all things about my fabulous kiddos!
A few things about me: I am in my 16th!! year of teaching. I have taught preK, K, 1st, 2nd, and a transition 1st grade class. After teaching K for six years I thought I was at home and never wanted to leave. I moved to 1st grade and I have loved it ever since! I follow many teacher blogs and have loved getting ideas from so many wonderful and creative teachers.
I have a five year old little boy and a nine month old little girl. I'm married to a wonderfully supportive man and live in the same area in which I grew up. I love the K-8 school I teach in and my 1st grade team is fabulous! I truly count them among my close friends.
I'm certain I won't be able to keep up with the fabulous bloggers out there, but hopefully one day I can share a few great ideas.
